Time to migrate to flows

As a Salesforce customer, you may have received emails from Salesforce recently notifying you Salesforce will no longer be supporting Workflow Rules & Process Builders.

What does this mean?

From the 31st December 2025 Salesforce will no longer carry out bug fixes or provide support to issues experienced with them. This move is to help migrate orgs to adopt the use of Flows, which are very flexible and where Salesforce wants to focus it’s development on.

This does not mean that on or after the 31st December 2025 Workflow Rules or Process Builders will stop functioning.

What do I need to do?

Review your Process Builders and Workflows to see if there is still business value in what they are doing.

If there is no business value in the old automation then deactivate for a period of time before removing them from your system.

If there is business value in the old automation migrate them to Flows. We recommend you look at pre-existing Flows to see if the actions of the old automation can be incorporated within established Flows to keep the system working at its optimum.

Please note there is a tool called “Migrate to Flow tool” to assist with this but we do recommend reviewing the Flow once migrated to ensure it is working in the most efficient and effective way possible.
