The Salesforce® RFI automation Mint® provided gave PCI Pharma Services a smarter, unified way to manage global Requests for Information—bringing efficiency, accuracy, and visibility. As PCI continued to grow through acquisition and expand internationally, inconsistent RFI practices across its Commercial division created challenges in speed, accuracy, and forecasting. Mint® worked closely with PCI to design and implement a Salesforce®-based RFI tool that simplifies and standardises how Commercial teams handle project inquiries. The result? Faster responses, improved collaboration, and a more connected sales cycle.
Our custom solution began with standardising RFI fields across all global sites, enabling consistent data capture from day one. Using intelligent screen flows, the system dynamically presents fields based on project type, ensuring users only see what’s relevant. That means less noise, fewer errors, and quicker input.
Other standout features of the Mint® Salesforce® RFI solution include:
- Auto-populated Materials Records: Key SKU and material details populate automatically, reducing admin time.
- Quoting System Integration: A single macro-enabled button exports RFI data directly into PCI’s quoting templates.
- Cloning Functionality: Existing records can be duplicated and edited, streamlining repeat submissions and reducing manual input.
The impact was immediate. PCI’s Commercial teams now process RFIs faster, with a significant reduction in duplication and manual effort. Data accuracy has improved, and every RFI is connected to its corresponding sales opportunity, helping leadership track and forecast more effectively.
