The Salesforce® supplement ordering integration helped PillTime expand services by allowing patients to order supplements alongside NHS prescriptions, without compromising clinical safety. PillTime needed an integrated, compliant way to add supplements to the patient journey that preserved therapeutic integrity and kept operational overhead low.

Mint® partnered with clinicians and technical teams to build a modular supplement experience inside Salesforce® and the Titan flow, pairing real-time checks with pharmacist feedback loops so self-service convenience would never override clinical control.

Discovery and clinical mapping were the first priorities. Mint® worked with pharmacists to define contraindications, decision pathways, and acceptable exception handling. That domain knowledge became the backbone of automated rules that check interactions, surface clear warnings to patients, and create secure tasks for pharmacist review where required. This approach ensures patient safety while enabling a frictionless experience for straightforward purchases.

On the technical side, Mint® implemented an embedded supplement catalogue connected to patient records and prescription history. Business rules evaluate orders in real time, and flagged items create a secure route for pharmacist intervention. Every interaction is logged for audit and review, so clinicians and compliance teams can trace the rationale for approvals or rejections.

Key features of the implementation included:

  • Supplement Module Embedded in Titan: Seamless in-app flow for ordering supplements during prescription interactions.
  • Guided Pathways & Warnings: Built-in clinical guidance and contraindication alerts to safeguard patients.
  • Clinical Feedback Loop: Secure pharmacist intervention routes for manual review and approval.
  • Audit Trails & Governance: Detailed logs provide transparency and compliance controls.

Practical benefits were clear: supplement orders integrated smoothly into workflows, patient satisfaction rose, and clinical exception rates remained low because of automated checks and pharmacist oversight. Operational staff logged fewer ad-hoc queries and focused on clinically important reviews rather than repetitive admin.

Usability was emphasised from the start, the flow matched Titan’s existing interface to reduce training time, and Mint® ran pilots with clinicians to refine decision logic before full rollout.

Expanding Titan’s role has made life easier for our teams and customers alike. Mint® delivered a solution that feels like a natural extension of how we work.
