Mint® Moments – December

  • Blog

December Edition

December is the month where reflection meets celebration – often over a calendar full of meetings and mince pies. Fittingly, the first commercial email was sent in December 1977, proving that end-of-year outreach has always been a thing. As the year winds down, December reminds us that even small messages can spark big change… and that inboxes have been busy this time of year for decades.

Mint Moments - December

As we approach the end of another remarkable year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to you for being part of the Mint® community. It’s been a pleasure partnering with you as we continue helping organisations innovate, grow and get the very best out of Salesforce®.

This season is a wonderful chance to pause, celebrate our shared successes and look forward to the opportunities ahead. From all of us at Mint®, I wish you and your loved ones a joyful festive season filled with rest, connection and plenty of good food.

Here’s to a bright and exciting year to come.
Warm wishes,
Geoff

  • Salesforce® Winter ’26 Wonderland – Unwrapping the Best New Features This Christmas

Agentforce: Your New AI Elf Squad – Salesforce®’s new Agentforce platform delivers “agentic” AI – digital elves working quietly behind the scenes to automate tasks across Sales, Service and IT. It even introduces Agentforce Grid, a spreadsheet-style space for chaining prompts, data and actions (we’ll unwrap this in more detail in News from the Salesforce® Tower).

AI-Powered Account Research – Sales Teams’ New Sleigh – Sales Cloud’s AI-Powered Account Research instantly surfaces customer insights, auto-populates plans, and highlights opportunities – giving reps a smooth glide into meetings, with no Christmas Eve–style scrambling.

Flow Builder: Now Shining Brighter Than the Tree – Winter ’26 brings an improved Flow Debugger, easier canvas switching and version comparison, plus support for Apex-defined collections in Data Table components. More power, fewer workarounds – truly the star atop the automation tree.

Cross-Cloud Collaboration – Stuffed Stockings for Everyone – Salesforce® has tightened integration across Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce and Partner Cloud. It’s the perfect moment to streamline processes or consolidate platforms for an “all under one roof for Christmas” experience.

    Why It Matters for 2026

    • Unlock powerful new AI capabilities
    • Enjoy smoother automation with enhanced Flow
    • Build richer insights with Data Cloud
    • Strengthen security and trust
    • Scale your CRM like Santa scales his delivery routes
  • As we wrap up the year (pun intended), we’re shining a spotlight on a success that truly sleighed system silos. F. Ball and Co. Ltd. partnered with Mint to integrate Salesforce® with Sage X3, creating a single, seamless flow of financial and customer data across their organisation.

By unifying these systems, F. Ball unboxed a whole host of benefits:

    • Real-time financial visibility that ensures every team is working from the same up-to-date information – no more guessing what’s on the “naughty or nice” list.
    • Faster, more accurate processes, thanks to the elimination of manual data entry and duplicated work.
    • A single source of truth from lead to ledger, giving teams the clarity they need to act quickly and confidently.
    • Improved collaboration between sales, finance, and operations because nothing brings people together quite like streamlined data.

This project is a perfect example of how integrating fiscal systems can spark efficiency, reduce operational friction and create room for growth (and maybe even a mince pie break).

If you’ve been considering unifying your Salesforce® and financial systems, there’s no better time to give your business the gift of a smoother, smarter workflow. Mint®’s integration experts are here to help make it all feel as effortless as hanging stockings by the fire.

  • This season, the spotlight from Salesforce® Tower shines brightly on Agentforce, Salesforce®’s newest leap into “agentic” AI – think of it as your own AI elf squad working tirelessly behind the scenes. Agentforce brings autonomous intelligence to the platform, capable of analysing information, making decisions and taking action across Sales, Service and IT. These aren’t just smart assistants; they’re full workflow partners that can automate complex processes, reduce manual workload and seamlessly link together the systems your teams rely on.

A major highlight is Agentforce Grid, a spreadsheet-style workspace where prompts, data, logic and actions come together. Picture Santa’s workshop reimagined for automation – a place where tasks are orchestrated, optimised and delivered faster than ever. For organisations already embedded in the Salesforce® ecosystem, Agentforce marks a significant step toward smarter operations, increased agility and meaningful productivity gains.

As Agentforce begins its global rollout, Mint® will be keeping a close eye on how these capabilities evolve and how we can help our clients harness them to stay ahead of the curve.

  • In the world of Salesforce®, technical debt is a bit like winter frost: easy to ignore at first, but if it builds up, it can slow everything down.

December is the perfect month for a light “CRM winter clean.” Not a full overhaul, not a year-end audit, just a sensible tidy-up to stop small issues from snowballing into bigger frustrations next year.

Here are a few quick wins that make a noticeable difference:

    • Retire Outdated Automations – Old Workflow Rules, forgotten Process Builders and half-used Flows can quietly drag on performance. Clearing or consolidating them keeps things running smoothly.
    • Declutter Page Layouts – Fields that no one uses? Sections no one scrolls to? Trim the excess so your users see only what matters.
    • Review Integrations – If an external tool isn’t pulling its weight anymore, park it. Removing unused connectors reduces errors and speeds up syncs.
    • Simplify Permissions – Overgrown Permission Sets can lead to confusion and accidental access issues. Tidying them up now helps keep your org secure and easy to navigate.

A short winter clean now means fewer surprises, fewer bottlenecks and a Salesforce® org that stays quick, tidy and enjoyable to use, even as the temperature drops.

If you’d like help melting away that technical debt, we’re here to make your system feel lighter, faster and ready for the year ahead.
